Lauper to Embark on 23-Date Tour Starting in October
Legendary singer Cyndi Lauper has announced her farewell tour, which will kick off in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, on October 18 at The Bell Centre. The tour will be her first major outing in over a decade and will feature a total of 23 dates across North America.
Lauper has been a trailblazing figure in the music industry for decades, winning the Grammy Award for Best New Artist in 1985 with her album "She's So Unusual." The album spawned four top-five singles, making Lauper the first woman in history to achieve such a feat with a debut album.
The upcoming tour will coincide with the release of the new documentary "Let the Canary Sing," which chronicles Lauper's life and career. The film is set to premiere this fall.
